Marcianos Pick Up 3-1 Win Against Dorado
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Dorado Ejemplares and Lajas Marcianos get after it.
Lajas turned a good effort from starter Søren Fetterlein into a win over the Dorado Ejemplares at Plaza Cósmica de Lajas. The Marcianos won the game, 3-1. Fetterlein got the win, improving to 6-3. He gave up 7 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run.
Silvano Mondolfo dealt the Ejemplares a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Lajas leading 2-1, Mondolfo hit a first pitch curveball for a run-scoring single.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Mondolfo.
The loss makes Dorado 78-74.
