Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Guaynabo Libertadores as starter Basilio Gallegos shut them out, 5-0, at Jardines de Guaynabo. The Penuelas pitcher struck out 5 and walked 1 while allowing 2 hits.

"Gallegos was good but he wasn't flawless," Guaynabo manager Billy Riley said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Penuelas, but this is on us."
