Coliseo Báquides Linares was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Mayaguez Capitanes and Humacao Milagrosos.

The Mayaguez Capitanes did just enough to secure a victory over the Humacao Milagrosos, 3-2, in 10 innings at Coliseo Báquides Linares. Nobody did more than pitcher Hortensio Galicia. Daniel Vilchez snagged the win in relief. He goes to 6-3 on the season. Pedro Medina suffered the loss.

The most important at-bat for Mayaguez came in the top of the tenth inning, when shortstop Jaime Molina stroked a 0-1 changeup to right for a run-scoring single, putting Mayaguez up, 3-2.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Eduardo Argueta.

Humacao has now lost 7 consecutive games.
