|
Romeros left fielder Danny Johnstone left his mark on his team's 9-4 win over the Dorado Ejemplares. Johnstone was 4-5 with 4 singles, while scoring 3 runs for Hormigueros in the contest. The third-place Romeros are 68-84.
Eduardo Alanis hit a 2-run triple off Tomás Bermudes in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Romeros in front, 5-3. Alanis had 2 walks, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 2.
"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Johnstone said in reaction to the win.
