In the bottom of the third inning, the Quesiteros grabbed the lead when Fabián Beltrán rapped a two-out single. Isabela was trailing 2-1, when Beltrán hit a 2-run single off Ricardo González to put his team in front, 3-2.

"I was hoping to make good contact," said Beltrán. "I wasn't trying to knock the snot out of it."
