A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Florida Mogotes and Barceloneta Marineros.

Good production from third baseman Germán Narváez helped the Florida Mogotes topple the Barceloneta Marineros, 6-2. Narváez went 2 for 4 with 2 triples. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Mogotes. Felipe Munguía notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 5 innings. His record now sits at 17-14.

Early in the game, Narváez had a 2-run triple for Florida. It was his 11th triple of the season and put the Mogotes on top, 2-0.

Florida manager Eusebio Piñeda was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
