Gurabo Bats Run into Galicia Buzzsaw in 4-1 Loss
The Mayaguez Capitanes picked up a win at Coliseo Municipal de Gurabo, dropping the Gurabo Tainos, 4-1. Hortensio Galicia, who finished 3rd in the LH in innings pitched with 395.1 in 1905, was the difference-maker. The Capitanes raised their record to 90-60.

Galicia subdued the Gurabo offense. The Mayaguez right-hander allowed a mere 4 hits over 9 innings, while fanning 12. His season record goes to 28-12 with the win.

"Hortensio had good life on his pitches," said Mayaguez manager Alberto Contreras.
