The exploits of left fielder Eufemio García helped the Cabo Rojo Combatientes defeat the Arecibo Lobos, 6-2. García was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Combatientes upped their record to 74-79.

Cabo Rojo took a 5-2 lead on García's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Marco Quiroz in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Cabo Rojo to the win.

"Just trying to keep things simple and helping the team win any way I can," García told a local reporter after the game.
