Pescadores Win 3-2 Walk-Off
|
The Aguadilla Colmillos went down to defeat to Federico Urtiaga and his Salinas teammates. The final score was 3-2, in favor of the Pescadores. Urtiaga, now 20-16, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 2, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. With the victory, the Pescadores upped their record to 91-67.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Colmillos allowed the Pescadores to score the winning run.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Urtiaga said.
