Santa Isabel registered a win at Coliseo Joaquín Marín by beating the Aguadilla Colmillos, 4-2. Pitcher Abdías Payán was one reason why the Corceles triumphed. At 66-88, the Corceles claim third place in the Liga Betances Metro Sur.

Santa Isabel used the timely hitting of Alexis Jacques to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Corceles on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Glad to get this win," said Payán. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
