A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Isabela Quesiteros and Guayama Hechiceros.

The Isabela Quesiteros scored a convincing win at Coliseo Germán Márquez, defeating the Guayama Hechiceros, 12-0. One of the hitting stars was Arnold Wilson, who finished 4th in the LH in wins above replacement with 9.7 in 1913, who was 4-4 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. José Medellín, the winning pitcher, is now 20-6. He went 8.1 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits, while fanning 6 and walking 2.

Isabela got a big at-bat from Veracruz, Mexico native Frank del Castillo, who in the top of the fifth hit a run-scoring double. It was his 12th double of the season and put the Quesiteros ahead, 3-0.

Guayama manager Jesús Aguilar called the blowout loss "not what we had in mind."

The Quesiteros now have a record of 97-59 with the win over Guayama.
