The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.
Ewan Mackenzie, who finished 5th in the LB in ERA with 1.91 in 1901, never let the Colmillos get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Termales to a win, 1-0. The win makes Coamo 74-83.
Mackenzie scattered 3 hits over 8.1 innings for the Termales. With the win, Mackenzie goes to 14-23 on the year with 160 strikeouts.
"Runs were at a premium," said Coamo manager Melchor Herrera.
