Conditions were not ideal but Gurabo and Adjuntas were able to put their game in the books.

Gurabo Tainos starter Nuño González found his groove in his team's 5-3 win over the Adjuntas Santos. With the win, the Tainos improved to 90-67.

There were several reasons the Tainos beat the Santos, but one factor was Desiderio Vega. In the bottom of the first, the Gurabo first baseman came to bat and hit a 2-run single. It staked his team to a 3-1 lead.

"Glad to go home with a win," said Vega.
