Reyes 5-4 Winners Versus Vieques
The Juana Diaz Reyes weathered a fine game by Vieques pinch hitter Agamenón Riestra to upend the Esqueletos, 5-4, at Coliseo Adrián Burnías. Riestra was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Julián Rodríguez picked up the win, lifting his record to 8-5 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 7 in 8.1 innings, while yielding 4 runs. Arjun Vipperla picked up his 3rd save of the season.

In the bottom of the sixth, 21-year old catcher José Fernández hit a run-scoring single to right-center. The single, which was hit off of Pablo Rivera, gave Juana Diaz a 5-0 lead.

"I'm proud to wear a Juana Diaz jersey," Fernández told the Juana Diaz Gazette. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"

The Reyes win now puts them at 99-60.
