Cafeteros Rally Late to Nip Murcielagos

Maricao and Camuy slugged it out for in 10 innings. Absalón Rodríguez, in particular, was outstanding. The Maricao right-hander helped his team knock off the Murcielagos, 1-0. The winner was Galeno Henríquez in relief. His record improves to 5-7. Jorge Gutiérrez took the loss. At 104-56, the Cafeteros claim first place in the Liga Betances Cordillera Oeste.
The Cafeteros got a clutch hit from left fielder Heráclito Reyes. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Cafeteros.
