The Salinas Pescadores got a rain-soaked win over the Morovis Sanisalvos.
The inspired effort of Morovis third baseman Darío Neira was not enough to prevent a loss, 6-3, to the Salinas Pescadores. Neira went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Salinas is now 85-79, while Morovis is 91-71.
Javier Salcedo had a chance to do some damage in the bottom of the ninth. With Morovis trailing 6-3, Morovis had a runner on 1st. But Salcedo grounded out.
