Gurabo Tainos starter Ricardo González was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Villalba Mercaderes, 3-2. The losses continue to add up for Villalba, having now dropped 8 straight.

Had Jacques Ceinture not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Ceinture hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Tainos.
