Ramírez Helps Guanica Cruise to 10-3 Win
1908 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Sabana Grande Tejedores.

The Guanica Amigos pinned a convincing loss on the Sabana Grande Tejedores, 10-3, at Campo de Sabana Grande. Miguel Ramírez was a main factor in the win. He was 3 for 5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5 for Guanica. Eunosto Gutiérrez, who won the Excelentísimo in 1902, was the winning pitcher. Over 9 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 9 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts.
