Luis Castro shut out the Isabela Quesiteros, 1-0, on a 3-hit masterpiece for the Florida Mogotes at Estadio de Florida.

"He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Florida skipper Eusebio Piñeda said afterward.

Castro registered 9 strikeouts and issued 1 walk in pitching a gem.

"We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Isabela manager Senén Pérez after the defeat.

His record this year is 26-15 in 41 starts and Castro has a 2.06 ERA.
