Aguadilla Picks Up Another L
|
The Cabo Rojo Combatientes picked up a win at Parque de los Combatientes, knocking off the Aguadilla Colmillos, 4-3. Starting pitcher Esteban Robles was a big reason why. With the win, Cabo Rojo has a record of 80-82. Aguadilla falls to 69-92.
Julián Jerónimo dealt the Colmillos a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with a runner on 3rd and Cabo Rojo leading 3-2, Jerónimo, who finished 4th in the LB in wins above replacement with 9.0 in 1906, hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single.
"We've hit a lull," said Aguadilla manager Menendo Parra.
