Hernández Impressive in 3-1 Vega Baja Triumph
Hurler Heliodoro Hernández gave the Vega Baja Caneros a solid start. The native of Trujillo Alto, Carolina helped his team defeat the Ciales Galanes, 3-1, at Parque de los Cañeros. The Caneros improved to 90-72.

Hernández, a native of Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, was dealing all game. He kept Ciales hitters off-balance, while giving the Caneros 9 quality innings. Hernández threw 100 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 4.

In comments to the Vega Baja Bulletin, Hernández admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
