Guabaleros Capture 6-3 Win at Recinto Ramón Araujo

Comerio Guabaleros starter Stewart Thomas found his groove in his team's 6-3 win over the Canovanas Chupacabras. Thomas, now 19-18, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, the Guabaleros improved to 68-96.
Comerio relied on the hitting of Jacobo Zavala to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Guabaleros on top, 4-1. For the game, Zavala had 1 triple and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
