The Corozal Mofongueros manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Gurabo Tainos. The Mofongueros were overpowered by Gurabo starter Gaspar García, who hurled his club to victory, 8-0.

"It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Dylan Cummings said.

Over 9 innings, García blanked Corozal on 3 hits with 2 walks and 1 strikeout.

"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," García said.

"I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."

To this point in the season, García shows a 21-14 record, 41 starts, 344 innings, 121 strikeouts and a 2.15 ERA.
