It might have been a rain-shorted game, but Brillantes fans didn't seem to mind as long as their team got the win.

The Naranjito Brillantes picked up a win at Estadio Felipe Esquibel, knocking off the Toa Baja Jinetes, 4-2. Starting pitcher Victoriano Guerrero was a big reason why. The Brillantes improved their record to 56-111 with the win over Toa Baja.

The Jinetes had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Brillantes going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old third baseman Kerwin Lee came to the plate. Lee hit a 2-run double on a 1-1 fastball from Toa Baja hurler Benito Aguilar. It was Lee's 9th double of the year.

"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Lee.
