Sanisalvos Even With Romeros After Extra-Innings Win
The Morovis Sanisalvos went the distance and then some at Coliseo Eugenio Carvajal to drag themselves back into a tie with the Hormigueros Romeros.

It took 13 innings to settle Game 4 of the Serie Preliminar, but Morovis eventually took the 6-5 win despite the performance of Hormigueros pitcher Ricardo Elías, who threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The clubs are now tied 2-2 in their best-of-5 series.

Morovis used the timely hitting of Darío Neira to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to put the Sanisalvos on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Morovis manager Nereo Villanueva told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, October 28th , 1915 at Coliseo Homero Contreras in Morovis.
