Corozal Advances to Serie Eliminatoria
|
The Corozal Mofongueros made it look easy and are heading to the Serie Eliminatoria.
They have ousted the Yabucoa Dulceros in a sweep, the final win coming by a 7-4 score, clinching the 3-0 series win.
"Everything's clicking for us right now," said Thiha Hein, who was named MVP for the series.
Hein hit .429 with a .429 on-base percentage. He added 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Corozal Mofongueros don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Mayaguez Capitanes - Utuado Arribenos series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The Serie Eliminatoria schedule will be announced after the Serie Preliminar finishes.
