Reyes Heading to Serie Interdivisional

The Juana Diaz Reyes and Fajardo Insolentes didn't hold back anything in the Serie Eliminatoria, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Serie Interdivisional.
Juana Diaz won the final game by a score of 3-0 at Coliseo Adrián Burnías and that concluded the series, 3-2.
"Relief is the biggest thing," Juana Diaz right fielder Vidal Santiago said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Fajardo deserves credit for the hard fight."
Santiago paced the Juana Diaz offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .471 with a .550 on-base percentage, 0 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 2 runs.
The Juana Diaz Reyes will play against the Isabela Quesiteros in the next round. Isabela won their series against the Toa Baja Jinetes 3 games to 1. The Serie Interdivisional schedule will be announced after the Serie Eliminatoria finishes.
