The Florida Mogotes locked up a win at Estadio de Florida, knocking off the Quebradillas Corsarios, 3-1. On the mound for Florida was right-hander Felipe Munguía. He played a major role in the triumph. Munguía got the win, improving to 3-3. He gave up 3 hits and walked 4 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. The save went to Adrián García, number 3 for him.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Adrián García didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Quebradillas trailing 3-1, García retired Juan Santoyo to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said García, with a wink.
