Multi-HR Day for Chairez as Pecan Kings Overpower Alpinists, 6-2

The Tyler Pecan Kings took on the Beaumont Alpinists at Pecan Kings Stadium.
The performance of Miguel Ángel Chairez proved critical in helping Tyler beat Beaumont, 6-2. The Pecan Kings catcher went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The third-place Pecan Kings lifted their record to 67-60.
Tyler took a 6-1 lead on Chairez's 10th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Carl Ginty in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Tyler to the win.
"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Chairez told the Tyler Times.
