Burlington starter Justino Rivera kept the Barre offense in check, while his team cruised to a win, 12-2. The Lightermen move to 41-30 with the win, while the Headstones drop to 32-39.

The Headstones had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Lightermen going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old shortstop Raúl Téllez came to the plate. Téllez hit a bases-clearing triple on a 2-0 cutter from Barre hurler Calvino Garza. It was Téllez's 2nd triple of the year.

"Justino gave us a really strong effort," said Burlington manager Daniel Garza.
