Lightermen Win Pitchers' Duel, 2-1, Versus Quarrymen
The Burlington Lightermen got a good effort from starter Antonio Hidalgo in defeating the Rutland Quarrymen at The Dock. The final score was 2-1. Esteban Martínez wrapped it up, recording his 11th save. Burlington, at 52-38, occupies second place in the Northern New England Association Vermont Circuit.

Chipping in for Burlington was third baseman Logan Watson. He stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Watson was 1-4.

"When I go out there," said Hidalgo, "the last thing I want to do is let my teammates down."
