Cervantes Terrific in 7-1 Concord Triumph
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Concord Stagecoaches and Nashua Gatekeepers came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The Concord Stagecoaches downed the Nashua Gatekeepers, 7-1, at The Gatehouse. Stellar pitching by Octavio Cervantes had a lot to do with it. The left-hander, who is tied for 7th in the NNEA in complete games with 21, handcuffed his opponent all game. The Stagecoaches now own a record of 69-62.

Cervantes allowed 1 run over 9 innings. He also racked up 6 strikeouts.

"Octavio gave us a really big performance," said Concord manager Nicanor Tomasini.
