The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.
The Guanica Amigos picked up a win at Estadio Gilberto Martínez, knocking off the Adjuntas Santos, 4-3. Starting pitcher Héctor Delgado played a key role in the triumph. In 9 innings, Delgado surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Guanica trailing 3-2, José Medina hit a slider from Plácido Polanco to left for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Amigos had a walk-off win.
