Galanes Go Down to Defeat, 7-3
|
Rubén García, who is tied for 2nd in the LB in innings pitched with 103.0, was locked in. The left-hander led the Hatillo Canarios to a 7-3 win against the Ciales Galanes at Coliseo Gerardo Buitrago. In 8.2 innings, García surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs. Hatillo now sports a record of 31-10.
Tied up with the Galanes in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Canarios got a boost from left fielder Eufrasio Collao. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Collao saw a 1-2 fastball from Noé Olvera and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Hatillo on top, 2-1.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Collao told the Hatillo Gazette.
