Guabaleros Lose as Mulos Stage Late Rally
Aguas Buenas and Comerio scratched and clawed until someone claimed the prize.

In a well-pitched game between the Aguas Buenas Mulos and the Comerio Guabaleros, pitcher Manuel Cortés was superb. The Aguas Buenas right-hander helped his team win, 1-0. With the win over Comerio, the Mulos improved to 27-15.

Cortés, a native of Carolina, Puerto Rico, was dealing all game. He kept Comerio hitters off-balance, while giving the Mulos 9.1 quality innings. Cortés threw 73 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 5.

"Everybody in here is a professional. You have to do what you have to do," said Cortés.
