Though the conditions were not ideal, the Mayaguez Capitanes and Rincon Ingenieros came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Byron Wood helped his team muscle past the Rincon Ingenieros, 7-6. In the game, the Mayaguez left fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2. Mayaguez goes to 25-18, Rincon to 28-16.

Finley Train was the walk-off hero for Mayaguez. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Capitanes first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
