Estadio Tomás Morel was the site of some high drama.

Comerio Guabaleros starter Buenaventura Parrales pitched his team past the Aguas Buenas Mulos, 3-2. Parrales, who is tied for 4th in the LB in innings pitched with 101.0, went the distance for Comerio. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits.

Batting in the bottom of the ninth, 26-year old left fielder Mario Guzmán had a real shot to win the game. Aguas Buenas pitcher Francisco Peña was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Guzmán hit a run-scoring single. The Guabaleros had a walk-off triumph.

Parrales told reporters after the game: "This one was touch and go, but we were able to put it in the win column."

The Guabaleros go to 19-25, putting them third in the Liga Betances Cordillera Este.
