Corsarios Rally to Nose Past Anasco
The Quebradillas Corsarios finished things off in style.

The Quebradillas Corsarios picked up a win at Campo de los Corsarios, knocking off the Anasco Matadioses, 4-3, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher Tiberio Torres played a key role in the triumph. Quebradillas reliever Primitivo Flores picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Cirilo Calderón took the loss.

The Corsarios nabbed the win, in part because of first baseman Moisés Chávez. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered the game-winning run-scoring single.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Chávez. "But we got it done."

The setback makes Anasco 23-21.
