Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Caguas Ruidosos and Morovis Excepciones.

The Ruidosos grabbed a win, 7-2, at Parquecito de Morovis, overcoming a fine effort from Morovis pitcher Elía Lemus. Lemus went 5.2 innings and allowed no runs. The winning pitcher was Santiago Parra. He's now 11-12. He went 9 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits for the Ruidosos.

Caguas center fielder Eufrasio Ortega contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the second. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 102nd hit of the season and put the Ruidosos ahead, 3-0.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Ortega said after the game.

The Ruidosos now have a record of 57-38 with the win over Morovis.
