Estadio Cordelia Pérez de Verdugo was the site of a competitive game between the Trujillo Alto Macabeos and San German Golondrinas.

The San German Golondrinas defeated the Trujillo Alto Macabeos, 4-2, in Liga Hostos action at Estadio Cordelia Pérez de Verdugo. San German pitcher Nicolás Arreguín had a standout performance. In 7.2 innings, Arreguín surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs.
