Arribenos Win, Downing Cerros, 6-3

Utuado picked up a win at Coliseo Miguel Flores, bumping off the Jayuya Cerros, 6-3. Pitcher Gabriel Morales was a major reason the Arribenos emerged victorious. Miguel García, who finished 3rd in the LH in saves with 21 in 1907, earned the save for Utuado. Utuado occupies first place in the Liga Hostos Cordillera Oeste at 38-17.
The Arribenos got a big at-bat from designated hitter Storm Peck. For the game, Peck went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Utuado a 2-1 lead.
"We'll put this win in the can," said Peck, "and go after the next one."
