Golondrinas Deal Ilustres 4-3 Loss
The San German Golondrinas picked up a win at Parque de las Golondrinas, downing the Barranquitas Ilustres, 4-3, in 13 innings. On the mound for San German was right-hander Efraín Ayala, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win went to Juan Salazar in relief, making him now 1-1. Sandalio Rocha took the loss for Barranquitas. San German goes to 5-2 with the win.

The Golondrinas relied on catcher Esteban Pequeño for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 13th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

Ayala called the win a testament to his team's "grit."
