Neoterici fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

Alba Florido, who is tied for 8th in the WLK with a 2.96 ERA, was locked in. The right-hander led the Verona Neoterici to a 4-3 win against the Bolzano Dolomiti at Stadio Catullo. Verona currently is in third place in the Allgemeine Teilung at 63-52.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Dolomiti allowed the Neoterici to score the winning run.

"Alba's good, period," said Verona manager Eduardo Rivera.
