When the entire season comes down to one game, Trevor Ransom said you find out what a team is really about.

As it turns out, the Rincon Ingenieros are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Isabela Quesiteros 1-0 tonight at Estadio Municipal de Isabela in order to win the Serie Preliminar and book a place in the next round.

"It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Ransom, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about."

Ransom hit .421 with a .450 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Rincon Ingenieros will play against the Guanica Amigos in the next round. Guanica won their series against the Mayaguez Capitanes 3 games to 1. The Serie Eliminatoria schedule will be announced after the Serie Preliminar finishes.
