Starter Ezequiel Vásquez gave the Rio Grande Cotorras a complete game outing as the club took Game 1 of the Serie Eliminatoria from the Patillas Cuervos. The right-handed Vásquez held the Cuervos to 2 runs on 9 strong innings. The Cotorras took the game by a score of 3-2, and now lead the best-of-5 series, 1-0.
