The Ciales Galanes and Penuelas Guiristas put on quite a show.

The Ciales Galanes picked up a win at Coliseo Armando Vargas, taking down the Penuelas Guiristas, 4-3. Starting pitcher Cosme Méndez was a big reason why. Ciales, at 21-36, sits in third place in the Liga Betances Centro.

Javier Marínez drew 1 walk for Ciales. With two out and the game tied in the top of the 11th inning, Marínez had a clutch at-bat. Facing Penuelas hurler Heriberto Sánchez, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Galanes a 4-3 lead.

"Cosme was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Ciales manager Herodes Tavárez.
