Hechiceros Lose, 1-0, as Poetas Rally

For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.
The Toa Alta Poetas picked up a win at Estadio Israel "Sabio" García, dropping the Guayama Hechiceros, 1-0. Jerónimo Rosas was the difference-maker. Luis Amador, who leads the LH in holds with 2, was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-4. The losing pitcher was Cassidy Campbell.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Toa Alta left fielder Ernesto Bravo, facing Cassidy Campbell, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Poetas the 1-0 win.
"When Jerónimo is on, he can really move the ball around," said Toa Alta manager Charlie McCullough.
The first-place Poetas bumped their record to 35-21.
