Raucous The Grill Crowd Propels Brats to 5-3 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The Sheboygan Brats and the Saginaw Joes will take the Interleague Series to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Brats beat the Joes, 5-3, at The Grill to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Sheboygan right-hander Ricardo Cruz had a big role in the win. He threw 9.0 innings of 8-hit ball.

With Sheboygan leading 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Celino Benítez hit a 2-run single off Saginaw pitcher Duarte Sánchez. It put the Brats ahead 5-2.

Cruz said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Grill in Sheboygan.
