Almost There: Sault Ste. Marie On Cusp of National Championship of Canada Triumph After 8-4 Win
Starter Oliverio Rohena gave the Sault Ste. Marie Rapids a complete game outing as the club took Game 4 of the National Championship of Canada from the Halifax Batteries. The right-handed Rohena held the Batteries to 4 runs on 9 strong innings. The Rapids took the game by a score of 8-4, and now lead the best-of-7 series, 3-1.

In the top of the second, Sault Ste. Marie designated hitter Gabriel García had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, García stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 3-1, Sault Ste. Marie. For the game, he went 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.

"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Rohena.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Batteries Field in Halifax.
