Raucous La Salchichera Crowd Propels Chorizos to 6-2 Victory; Series Tied at 1
Age is just a number.

Agustín Amador proved that point at La Salchichera, leading the Toluca Chorizos to a comfortable, 6-2 win over the Puebla Mosqueteros in Game 2 of the Serie Eliminatoria. The 39-year-old threw 9.0 innings of 8-hit ball. The win allowed the Chorizos to tie their best-of-7 series with the Mosqueteros. Toluca and Puebla are now even at 1-1.

Marco Antonio Sánchez had a clutch at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for the Chorizos. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Toluca trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.

"Agustín did a heck of a job," said Toluca manager Santiago Ferra.

The next game is set to be played for Monday, November 2nd , 1908 at Estadio Municipal de Puebla in Puebla.
